BUT when I ask for the tracking number, THAT system is mysteriously "down".
WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE WORK? At any rate, he promises he sees our last person on a "different tool" and promises his order will arrive tomorrow. WHAT? Soooo once again, we call back (I've lost count how many times we've called).and this time, there are roosters literally crowing in the background. Well lo & behold, we didn't receive ANY call, but she sent an email back saying my order only had ONE person on it. She promised (once again) that upper management would call me in 24-48 hours. All of a sudden she found one of the orders but not the other. Finally we said we don't want a call back, we will hold online. She said she would escalate to upper management and they would call me back in 24-48 hours (we got that excuse EVERY time we called in). I said that's really funny that you CHARGED me for 5 orders!!!!! I forwarded my email confirmation showing her I had 5 on my order. When I called to ask where the other 2 orders were, she told me I never ordered those 2. When I went online later to check the status of my order, it only showed 3 people. I never dreamed what a mess this would be. We ordered Sampler boxes for 5 different employees - all to be shipped to different addresses. I assume eventually it will get delivered in the coming week, which will be AFTER the holiday. So I have no expectations that’s I’ll happen either. I checked back at 2 PM and the website now says it will be delivered on April 4th - which is Easter Sunday. Website said it was in transit and would be delivered on the 3rd. I checked back with FedEx at 9 AM on April 3rd. I called Popcorn Factory and was told it (after a long wait) the basket would be delivered April 2nd. I checked the FedEx tracking number and the website said “no information available”. My last experience, I ordered an Easter Basket on Mar 23rd to be delivered on April 1st. I’ve purchased gifts now and then for 5 yrs but am consistently let down.
But the lack of timely delivery and lack of communication is disappointing when you are buying a gift. So okay, we all know popcorn isn’t a matter of life and death. They know nothing about where your package is once it leaves their dock, and all you get is a “sorry for the inconvenience” and a coupon. No customer service in the meantime either. I’ve given them as long as 10 days lead time and 75% of the time they just can not deliver the package on time. But all they consistently deliver are broken promises and hollow apologies.

While the packaging is cute and the contents are tasty, this company can not seem to figure out how to get the items you purchase to your intended recipient until days and days after the date you’ve selected as the “must receive by” date. If, however, you ALSO want it to be delivered ON or BEFORE the holiday you are celebrating, DO NOT order it from the Popcorn Factory.
